Home Health & Hospice Registered Nurse - RN Field Nurse - HHH New

LeaderStat is recruiting on behalf of a marvelous Western Washington healthcare organization serving King and Pierce Counties which seeks a Registered Nurse to provide Home Health & Hospice care to senior clients as an RN Field Nurse.

The provider is not-for-profit, putting their whole focus on meeting the needs of their patients and re-investing in the well being of the organization.

This position is full-time and requires candidates to drive to the homes of patients. Previous experience in a Home Health or Hospice nursing role is highly desired, and an openness to learn to care for individuals in either category would be a real plus. Typical hours fall in the 8 am to 4:45 pm time range, though with Hospice visits there can be variations depending on the transitioning of patient's needs. 4-5 visits per day (depending on the type of visits) is pretty standard.

Ideal Candidates Will Bring

• Registered Nurse license in Washington State (RN in WA)
• Desire to live and work in King County &/or Pierce County
• WA Driver's License in good standing
• Experience working as a registered nurse providing Home Health or Hospice care
• Stable tenure in prior jobs (2-3 years or better, ideally)
• A sense of responsibility and understanding that your patients rely on you for their care
• Clear communication skill, with ability to respond with gentle empathy to patients and their loved ones when they have questions about their healthcare
• Technology savvy to enter data and stay up to date with documentation per state & federal regulations as well as company policy
