Base Salary:$118,019 to $189,900 +Best-in-class benefits

Job Description:

*The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is an expert clinician who may practice in a specialty area with expertise in teaching, mentoring, consulting, research, management and systems improvement.

*The clinical nurse specialist influences outcomes by providing expert consultation to all care providers and by implementing improvements in health care delivery systems.

Required Qualifications:

*Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing *Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) or

*Ph.D. from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing *Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or

*Currently enrolled in a Master's, DNP, or Ph.D. clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the *National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC) or

*Equivalent coursework and experience will be considered (Example: Master's in nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing that did not major in the CNS role, such as those that are in Nursing Administration or Nursing Education)

*Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License

*Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

*3 years registered nursing experience in area of specialty.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Upon hire: Current certification as a CNS

*Upon hire: Current certification in area of specialty

*2 years clinical leadership responsibility
